“If you avoid the great sins which you are forbidden, we will remove from you your evil deeds and enter you a noble entrance.” (Surah An-Nisa, Verse 31)
What a great promise of Allah SWT, yet how easily do we fall into shaytaan’s trap? If we lived our lives remembering this verse and this promise from Allah SWT, then surely, we would all be hopeful of Paradise which can only be attained through hardships and trials.
“Two rak’aats of prayer before the Fajr prayer are better than the world and whatever is in it.” (Muslim)
The 2 rak’aats are referring to the rak’aats of sunnah before the fard of Fajr. On a normal day, we are quick to wake up, offer 2 rak’aat, and either rush back to bed or begin household chores. However, praying just 2 more rak’aats, would allow you to gain something which is better than whatever you can imagine.
It is better than the world because the world and whatever is in it is perishing and its blessings are not free from the staleness of exertion and fatigue, whilst the reward of performing these two sunnah rak’aats remains and does not become stale.
“O Allah, I seek refuge in you from evil character, evil actions and evil desires.” (Tirmidhi)
Start and end your day with the remembrance (Dikhr) of Allah SWT. It is an act of worship. Recite the following dhikr 100 times each morning and evening. It has been mentioned in hadiths that it is light on the tongue, heavy on the scales of deeds and is most be-loved by Allah SWT.
