Ramadan Reflections Day 10

Qur’an Reflection

“And to Allah belongs the best names so call Him by them…” (Surah A’raf, Verse 180)

Allah is telling us that, we should use His names to praise and worship Him. And also, when we are supplicating to Him.

Hadith reflection

“Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one hundred minus one and whoever preserves them will go to Paradise” (Bukhari)

Preserving them is to memorise them, understand their meanings, praise Allah and call Him though them.

Sunnah Dua

“O changer of the hearts, strengthen my heart upon your religion” (Tirmidhi)

Personal Reflection

The 99 names of Allah are so beautiful, especially when you are familiar with their meanings. Give yourself a target to  learn them all and understand the different qualities of Allah so you can call out to Him (making Dua) with the appropriate names at the appropriate times inshaAllah.
