Working with Schools

Are you part of an early years educational establishment? Would you like your students to learn about Islam and Muslims in a fun and engaging way but not sure how? Perhaps you are a Muslim parent who would like your child’s school/nursery to know more about your faith?

We provide free ‘Learn About Islam’ sessions for primary schools, preschools, nurseries and any other early years establishment*. In an interactive and engaging session, students are given an outline of the core beliefs and practices of Muslims.

Extended sessions include crafts activities that children can keep and take home. All sessions are tailored to be age-appropriate, to help children learn in the manner best suited to their level of understanding. Muslim parents of the schools/nurseries are welcome to join us in facilitating these sessions.

We hope that these sessions will spark interest and curiosity in young minds, to explore and learn about different faiths and cultures. Difference brings diversity and richness. Ignorance can create fear and apprehension of things that are unfamiliar to us. By educating children about different religions, we can foster the understanding and respect needed between each-other to live and thrive in a multicultural and multi-faith community.

If you are interested in booking a ‘Learn about Islam’ session or in finding out more, contact us and we will be happy to answers any questions and discuss your requirements.

*We currently offer sessions for primary schools and early years educational establishments only. We hope to include secondary schools and further education centres in the future.
